The Community Relations Office coordinates districtwide events, handles media relations and accommodates media requests, takes photographs at district and campus events, conducts interviews for news releases and publications, provides news releases to local newspapers and television stations, maintains files of newspaper clippings, coordinates guest appearances on the district’s public access television station, KSBG-TV Channel 17, coordinates student/staff recognition at board meetings and complies with public information requests. The department coordinates advertisements related to districtwide events in area newspapers and magazines.
